Anne Goldberg graduated with a B.A. Hon’s in Printed Textiles at Manchester Polytechnic
in 1982. Shortly after leaving she won a design stand at Olympia, which set her on the road as a freelance designer, living and working in London. She worked designing for packaging, greeting cards, limited edition prints and exhibited in several London Galleries including Liberty’s. In the same period she won the London Evening Standard Award for a painting that was subsequently chosen for a greetings card.
Anne then went onto work for the Arthur Sanderson & sons as a designer in their in house studio and stayed until having her first child.
She is now living and working in Manchester lecturing in Art and Design and interior Design at various colleges in the Northwest, and concentrating again on her love of painting, this time more abstracted in style and focusing on a harmonious balance of colour and texture.
Anne will be pleased to accept commissions for both domestic and commercial environments.
